Easter, finally

Dying Easter eggs, always so much fun. The kids, even Dylan look forward to dying them all week before Easter. We put all inspirational Christ centered messages on the eggs and listen to gospel music.

Dylan get so into it, he always tries to win the coveted title Most Amazing Egg every year.

Sadee LOVED writing messages on the eggs this year.

I had fun too ;-)

Kendall was no slush, he decorated and was proud of it!

Christian was content just watching.

Always helping his little girls.

And here is the winning egg, the Most Amazing Egg! It belonged to Dylan, it looked so cool from every angle.

Here is first, second, and third. Mine got second but I still thought it was cool. Kendall's got third, all very cool eggs this year.

Finding their hidden baskets. We try to hide Dylan's hard and this year it took him a long time to find it , haha

The girls got their Easter dresses, shoes, and hair flowers. They also got a magic marker set and color book, a kite, and tons of candy.

She looks so tired poor thing. We did Easter really early in the morning and I  don't know if we will do that again.

As soon as Christian saw his blue ball and yellow balloon it was over, he didn't care about anything else.

Finding his eggs are always fun, we hide them hard!

She was so excited to open this one because it was big and had lots of goodies rattling in it.

Noelle was happy that she could recognize her name on her eggs this year and find them all herself.

......no eggs for Christian, just his ball.

comparing their booty.

Here was the DELICIOUS french toast bake I did for breakfast. It is SO good I'd like to make it every day of the week and twice on Sunday! We also ate fruit and some of the eggs we hunted.

A very fun and and spiritual Easter again. I love Easter and present it like Christmas to the family. Stories of Christ in everything we did and ate. Always a memorable holiday.

I haven't checked blogs for a while. A bit behind :( Looks like a super fun Easter!!! I should do that next year and hide their surprise in their basket and then make them find the candy.
