Halloween 2012

Once again we had our big family Halloween party at my brother and sister in-law's house and once again it was great. The kids played fun games out side and won yummy prizes. We all brought something to eat and there were some great Halloween goodies. I brought bandaid bites that were kinda gross looking, but that's the point right? My sister in-law made delicious guacamole that a jack-o-lantern was spewing out of his mouth, I can't remember who but someone brought ghost cookies (nutter butters dipped in white chocolate with a ghost face painted on them) so good! My other sis in-law made a Halloween dessert pizza....ugh I wish I got a pic of everything. Next year I will. Then there was the spook house in the basement that my bro in-law makes every year, the kids LOVED it. Always fun and spooky!

Princess Aurora, Spider Man, and Princess Merida.

Walking the plank?

So much fun with the cousins.

My feet got so swollen it felt like they were going to pop. One week before baby came.

Thanks to Shanda and Sean for another awesome Halloween.

Cornbelly's 2012

Another great trip to Cornbelly's. The kids played on anything and everything they could crawl onto and they, especially Christian, loved the big bounce things (which is the nice blurry pic). Every year we have so much fun and this year we even tried the fried Twinkies and fried Oreo, yuuummm.

Love these dorks to pieces.

I love my boys, Dylan ran around with Christian and had a great time. They were to cute.

I have no idea what I was looking at.

They really love this ride and look forward to it every year. Poor Christian could hardly see a thing.

As always, a pic of the family on the big chair. Next year I'll be more fun and get to run around with my kids, I really missed that.

Picking Leaves 2012

Another year of picking the gorgeous fall leaves has come and gone. There were so many amazing colors and places to go to find these leaves and we found a cute hidden hollow right in the middle of it all.

Always ready to run free out in the mountains.

My handsomes.

And off they go!

I love this one.

"Scary mommy."

We'll have to come back this way next year, so beautiful.

My Tyrant 2

My sweet little baby boy is now a tyrant 2, gotta  love them at this age! Christian is such a boys boy. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, trains, balls and wrestling = Christian Burt! I wouldn't change him for the world, well maybe just the fact that he adds an extra letter in when he says "sit", but other than that, nothing.

Out to eat at Cheesecake Factory.
Here's birthday boy.

Here's Birthday boy being  literally "hand fed" his drink all night bay daddy.

Here's what birthday boy would do when dad would stop. Spoiled.

I decided to get a cheese cake from the restaurant to make it easier on myself. I think I might have to do this more often.

He LOVED all the gifts he got, thank you everyone!

Dad and grandpa put this together for him and you'd think Christian died and gone to heaven.

Happy birthday to the sweetest little guy in the world. We  love you Christian dear, as high as the sky and as deep as the ocean!

The International Peace Gardens

While I was getting my maternity pics done Kendall took the kids around the gardens and saw the sights. This place is really cool and just beautiful. We'll have to make sure we go there every now and then.

This flower was literally the size of your head.  They had fun walking around and enjoying a peaceful garden.

Happy 33rd!

Kendall's birthday this year was different but great. He took the day off of work and took us to the Living Planet Aquarium. I had never heard of it but I guess Kendall had wanted to take the kids there for a while. How sweet of him to want to take us (Dylan was in Vegas) out on HIS birthday.

Everything was dang cool, the kids freaked out (literally) over everything.

I  made Kendall a Piecaken and let me be the first to tell you how amazing these cakes are!!! His was a spiced carrot cake with a apple crumble pie in the center and lightly frosted with cream cheese frosting. SO delicious and would also make a perfect fall dessert. Everyone LOVED it!

We served it still warm so, as you can see, it's a bit soft in the center. Again, sooo dang good!

Kendall seriously has the ugliest watch that he wears for everything. It did NOT go nice with his church suit or when we went out on dates to nice places. So I thought I'd give his wrist some eye candy ;-) Happy birthday babe!
