The International Peace Gardens
While I was getting my maternity pics done Kendall took the kids around the gardens and saw the sights. This place is really cool and just beautiful. We'll have to make sure we go there every now and then.
Happy 33rd!
Kendall's birthday this year was different but great. He took the day off of work and took us to the Living Planet Aquarium. I had never heard of it but I guess Kendall had wanted to take the kids there for a while. How sweet of him to want to take us (Dylan was in Vegas) out on HIS birthday.
Everything was dang cool, the kids freaked out (literally) over everything. |
We served it still warm so, as you can see, it's a bit soft in the center. Again, sooo dang good! |
A Chill Summer Day
The kids and I were in our back yard just a bit this summer. With me being so prego and hot it was hard for me to be out there for too long but we did have a handful of chillin days in the little pools, listening to music and enjoying the sun.
The girls really tried full on swimming in this little thing and they tried it over and over again. Didn't work so well for them. |
Christian would run up and try to jump in on them and that didn't work out so well for him, he face planted in the water every time. |
Next year we'll have the big pool set up, but these are still fun and chill. The kids love them and that's all I care about. |

A Late 2011 Thanksgiving
I just got the pics off my camera and on to my computer, here is Thanksgiving 2011 finally! We are missing tons of pics form this weekend though and I have no idea where they are. I'll update when I find them.
It was another great Thanksgiving at the cabin and I WILL get those other pics and elaborate! |
My Mother's Day
Mother's Day is always so wonderful for me. My kids show me they still love me even if I'm cranky and my husband makes me feel loved and that I'm NOT the worst mom in the world! I love my family and I do my best for them every day. I'm proud to have the children I have and am blessed beyond reason to get to live this wonderful life with them.
Crystal Hot Springs
Memorial Day weekend we decided to go to Crystal Hot Springs in Honeyville Utah. It was a lot of fun. We camped out in a tent on the RV grounds, which was horrible at first. The campground was right next to a highway and not far from train tracks. Since it was a holiday weekend everyone around us was up all night drinking, swearing, and laughing till 2am. Luckily the next couple of days everyone left and we basically had the resort to ourselves.
We went swimming in their many different hot springs and pools, they were so nice! And once the waterslides opened, it was bye bye Dylan. He had such a great time and really enjoyed the girls eyes on him ;-) We grilled yummy breakfasts and lunches and snacked on goodies all weekend long. The kids were in heaven. We drove to Brigham City had dinner and ice cream a couple nighs and found the yummiest drive-ins. We also drove around the new Brigham City temple grounds, it is beautiful!
It was a great weekend and really our first family vacation. Many more to come we hope ;-) And lots more pics coming soon to this post.

We got there and it was rainy and cold. We set up our gorgeous camp home and settled in for the night. He had treats and played games to pass the night. |
The next day was go go go! Swimming galore and we seriously saw Dylan for maybe a quarter of the day. He spent all day at the water slides and just wouldn't stop. |
The two cutest sisters! Every thing you see us sitting in were delicious hot springs. SOOOO relaxing! |
After a LONG day of swimming we walked around the grounds and found the duck lake. The little ones freaked over these guys and chased them everywhere. |
The next day we ventured in Brigham City, went to two drive in eateries and got some yum yums. |
Dylan already so tired from going non stop. |
Then back to swimming and Dylan doing his best flips. |
These hot springs were so awesome, I really think we will do this vacation again. Maybe with a camper next time though. |
