Sharing an article

I just wanted to post this article, I found it very interesting. I have also found it very true! lol I love seeing other women succeed in all things especially weight loss. I know what it's like to suffer from being fat and also having others snarl at me, put me down, and even make fun of me for losing weight. Mean people suck. However, it's good to know that you are doing nothing wrong and it just stems from other peoples jealousy. Bettering yourself and taking care of your health feels great and bottom line, no ones negative opinions matter! So go and succeed and be happy!

Hair Styles A Plenty

So someone comments to me the other day that I have had a lot of
different hairstyles over the years. I thought about it and really didn't
think I did......until I went through our pictures. I enjoyed all the cuts
and styles aver the years and they bring up some good memories.

Kind of fun to look back at and some a little not to attractive
but fun ;-)

Severe Ouchies!

Yes it was the coffee table again! :-(  By the end of the after noon and with the help of some pain killers he was in good spirits. Doctor took good care of him ;-)

Ouchies

Ouchie!
Christian loves to play with and on the coffee table and almost daily he hits his head on it some how.

Today he hit it pretty hard.....twice. : - ( Needless to say mommy has loved on him a lot today.

Mean Treat Time!

A Mean treat yes indeed! 1. because I make a mean Smore.  2. because they leave a mean mess to clean up and  3. because I can't have any and that is just plain MEAN lol

Smores are an easy easy treat to make, so how can anyone make an outstanding one? I'll tell you. FIRST, use a cinnamon cracker, It adds the perfect spice and texture. SECOND, (trust me on this) use a hazelnut spread, either with your favorite chocolate bar or by itself. Amazing! THIRD, the mallow! I like to use the huge camp fire mallows. They are more dense and less squishy soft so they hold better and don't drip every where. They stay nice and warm and right on top of your chocolate mix keeping the combination all melty with less mess.
And the survey says?!...........
Well just look at these adorable faces, they say it all. D*E*L*I*C*I*O*U*S!

A Few Of My Favorite Things

I like to do "Favorite Things" posts once in a while and I feel I need to do one today. Today is a great day! Here is what is making it so. It's a new day to try and do what I failed at the day before. Another day to be blessed with the Holy Ghost, to let him sit with me and teach me. A day to be given revelation for my family and I, this really calms my soul. This is the first day of a journey I have been struggling with for so long that I was blessed with tools to fix. Today I am finding an old friend that I have missed for so long, a very specific motivation. Blessings, blessings, BLESSINGS. Finally, my floor steam cleaner! lol
Above are all a part of my Favorite Things list, all are things that I cherish deeply. All are proof that God and His Son live and love this imperfect gal :-) I am humbled.

Just Wanna Have Some Fun!

There are two things that make me feel like I'm back home having a great time with my family and friends that I miss dearly. That it is pool and bowling. I can't even begin to tell you the endless games of both of these I have played. I grew up in bowling. My step-dad's sister owned a bowling alley back home and we would go there and have endless pizza, Shirley temples and bowling. Of course it helped that my Step-aunt (that sounds weird) owned it and my mom and step-dad use to work there, free everything every time ;-) Then when I got old enough to be on a league I joined. I had the funnest time in the league, on my team was my best friend Lacy Harris and boy did we rock it! I now go bowling every once in a while with my girlfriends or my hubby but now I wanna have some serious bowling fun! I am going to join a league!!! ;-)

Some days after bowling or on any other day we felt like we went and played pool. We got really good at it ;-) I have so many memories in pool. My grandparents added a pool table to their cabin in the mountains of Montana and every Thanksgiving and 4th of July we would play pool. My family does these reunion Olympics during the 4th of July and one of the sports that we compete in is pool. Now there are a lot of good pool players in my family and everyone is extremely competitive, especially the adult men. Now when a young niece or cousin of theirs AKA ME comes along and schools them, it makes for an eventful day. ;-) But really we always have SO much fun and I sure miss playing pool. So I am going to make a monthly date with my hubby and friends to go and play some pool!

Dylan The Awesome!

Dylan has accomplished so much this year and just keeps our hearts warm. He turned 12 on the 9th and received the Aaronic Priesthood shortly after. It was such a special day for him and his dad. Kendall set Dylan apart and he became a Deacon in the LDS church and was blessed with the priesthood. Along with his dad were his Grandpa Burt and Uncle Marshall, 1st and 2nd counselors in our Bishopric to set him apart. The blessing was beautiful.
As a mother I can't fully explain what it is like to have your son now holding the priesthood. I have always respected the priesthood and hold it close to my heart, and when your child receives it it magnifies everything that I have ever thought and felt for the priesthood. I am so so blessed to have two priesthood holders in my home, it feels amazing.
We are so proud of  Dylan for being so worthy to receive the priesthood, he is here to do amazing things!

New Hair Color!

Ok so I had tons of people who aren't on FB ask me to post a picture of my new hair color on my blog....here it is :-) I hope you can see it good enough in this picture, it's the best one I have.
I did a color/bleach technique called a "melt or fade" I absolutely love it! I had her put tons of slithered layers to compliment the color. I am  going to go a little lighter when we get into the summer more. Thanks to everyone who gave me compliments on it, what a way to make a mom to feel like a woman!
